Central Utilities Plant Operator-Black Seal Boiler - SRI International

SRI's Princeton office is seeking a Central Utilities Plant Operator to join the Facilities team.  The position is on a rotating shift that operates the Central Utilities Plant 24 X 7.

• Operation and maintenance of the Central Utilities Plant that includes steam boilers, refrigeration plant chillers, potable water production wells, compressors and a wastewater treatment plant.    
• Must operate the plant in compliance with NJ regulation and operating permits and have experience troubleshooting plant equipment, general maintenance and repairs to industrial steam and cooling systems.  
• Performs water quality checks to ensure proper chemical treatment of steam boilers and condensate systems, chilled water and wastewater treatment plant.  
• Works closely with other plant operators and mechanics to ensure all plant equipment is operating at maximum efficiency and has minimal downtime.   

• Must have a NJ Black seal boiler License.  
• Minimum (4) years apprentice training or equivalent and completed vocational or trade school
• Computer skills that include Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.   

The salary range is: $29.09-$38.54/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
