Coke Florida is looking for a Centralized Field Finance Specialist. This role will support our South Florida locations including Fort Pierce, Palm Beach, Hollywood, and Miami.
What You Will Do:
As a Coke Florida Centralized Field Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day Coke Florida processing of financial and accounting duties that include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Month-End duties & Route Settlement coverage. This role will help to implement identified process improvements within the finance functions, develop policies, and help maintain an appropriate control environment. The role will additionally partner with IT to identify technology solutions to streamline and optimize the business and work closely with Coke Florida's different locations.
As a member of the Coke Florida organization, the Centralized Field Finance Specialist will interact with key leaders in the organization and provide critical financial support and analysis to leaders in Coke Florida.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drive day-to-day processes related to Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Provide support to Route Settlement Team including researching route variances (cash and/or product) and Sales Center chargebacks
- Perform pre-settlement and/or cashiering duties in a Sales Center as needed
- Implement technology solutions to streamline and optimize the business
- Develop and document standardized processes
- Assist sale centers and sales associates with finance related concerns
- Support and train Route Process Administrators
- Complete invoice coding and approvals
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, Chart of Authority and other Company policies and procedures
- Continuously look for opportunity to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness throughout Finance function
For this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting-related roles
- Prior experience working with SAP and Microsoft products
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Solid understanding of internal controls
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel throughout Florida (up to 70%)
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
- Must have current vehicle liability insurance
- Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years*
- Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hours.
*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the Vending Supervisor position.
Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industries preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to make critical decisions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
