Join our team as a Certified Central Sterile Technician, working alongside other NYP Central Sterile Technicians in providing high-level disinfection for the Endoscopy Department.
Certified Central Sterile Technician - Central Sterile Endoscopy Reprocessing - Columbia - Evenings
In this role, you will be responsible for manually cleaning and reprocessing scopes in a safe and cost-effective manner using established policies and procedures under the direction of the Central SterileManager.
This is a full time position working 3:00pm-11:00pm, includingrotating weekends and holidays, atNewYork-Presbyterian/ColumbiaUniversity Medical Center.
Preferred Criteria
Prior CSPD or ORT experience
Prior endoscope reprocessing experience
Required Criteria
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management or certified by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
