MISSION
The Certified Coder is responsible for extracting CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes from the provider’s documentation to be entered in the Electronic Medical Record system and appropriate forms, while working closely with providers to ensure accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in coding, including E/M coding
Credentials/Licensures:
- Current Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:
- Previous experience in Urology/Gynecology field
- Working knowledge of eClinical system
- Fluent in E/M coding
Credentials/Licensures
- Current Urology Coding Certification (CUC)
- Current Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)
