Certified Electrician- Handyman Experience - Friendly Franchisees Corporation

Overview:

We are a rapidly growing, privately-owned company seeking a skilled Certified Electrician with handyman experience to join our team in the Southern California (SoCal) region. Our company provides top-notch service and maintenance to our facilities, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff.

As a Certified Electrician, you will install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems, inspect electrical components, and identify electrical problems using various testing devices. Additionally, you will perform electrical repairs in community areas, ensure mechanical equipment is in working order, and handle general building maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
• Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform electrical repairs in community areas, including lights and laundry.
• Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
• Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.
• Install and replace floors, stairs, and piping as needed.
• Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting, etc.
• Perform maintenance and light repairs.
• Perform routine landscaping on the grounds.
• Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks, etc.).
• Undertake light installations or carpentry tasks (e.g., build cabinets).
• Repair equipment or appliances.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Certified Electrician with proven experience in electrical installations and repairs.
• Handyman experience with a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay Range:

• $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Work Location:

• Southern California (SoCal) region.
