Vali Incorporated seeks highly qualified Certified Flight Instructor to support AMS Flight School located in Milton, Florida
Job Duties:
- Provide flight training for students as outlined by FAA 14 CFR Part 61 and Part 141 Standards
- Provide ground instruction for students as outlined by FAA 14 CFR Part 61 and Part 141 Standards
- Maintain student training records as outlined by Training Course Outlines (TCO)
- Maintain electronic student flight records as outlined by TCOs
- Other activities as directed by the Chief or Assistant Chief Flight Instructor
Essential Job Functions :
- Mentor students through flight and ground training
- Maintain flight training standards as outlined by FAA and AMS TCO
- Achieve milestones for student flight training
- Schedule flight and ground training when necessary
- Possess integrity, be a good listener and a good communicator, maintain integrity and are not someone just building time but care about your student
- Maintain open communication channels to the Chief and Assistant Chief Flight Instructor
- Understand AMS TCO
- Understand FAA rules and regulations for part 141 and part 61 flight training
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure students understand the AMS Safety Program
- Complete all paperwork to include logbooks, flight documentation, endorsements, etc.
- Strong customer service skills
- Consistently be a brand ambassador for AMS's flight training
Job Qualifications:
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor Rating (CFI)
- Current FAA Medical Certificate of Second or First Class
- Capable of performing all job descriptions to the Airman Certification Standards
- Computer skill required for maintaining accurate electronic record of lessons
