Certified Hemodialysis Tech - Saint Anthony Hospital

Position Purpose: Provide safe and effective dialysis treatments in a chronic outpatient dialysis setting under the direct supervision of a licensed registered nurse. Care is provided in compliance with policies and procedures, guidelines and regulations of SAH Dialysis Clinic, State of IL, and other federal agencies.

General Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Hemodialysis Technologist [CHT] credential from the Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing and Technology [BONENT]
• Current CPR
• Must maintain all applicable State of Illinois licensure requirements
• Minimum of 1 year dialysis experience preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant, CNA, or Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment
