Position: Certified Home Care Assistant

Department: Hospice

Shift: Days, M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm

Overview:

Administers personal care and related services in the home for the patient as assigned by the Case Manager or Hospice Manager.

Qualifications:

• Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Complete appropriate hours and pass test required forthe position.Experience: Six months experience working with people and an interest in working with people. Certifications: Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Required. Other: Preferred Experience: 2 years of experience in Home Health setting.Preferred Certifications: Home Health Aide or Long Term Care AideCertification.
