NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant (Full-time, Part-time and PRN) to join our team at the Henderson Detention Center located in Henderson, NV. Pay rates range per hour based on type of license, certification, Shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, licensure, and experience.

Responsibilities for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

• Provide routine clinical tasks
• Perform routine blood drawing procedures
• Take and document vital signs, height and weight, assist with PPDs and EKGs
• Assist with examinations and/or treatments
• Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes

Qualifications for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

• Nevada or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants. 
• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate 
• A valid CPR card
• A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred. 
• Office Lab Assistant License (For Nevada only.)
