Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Ansible Government Solutions

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for Medical Records Clerks to support the USCG National Maritime Center (NMC) located at National Maritime Center located at 100 Forbes Avenue, Martinsburg WV 25404. The mission of the NMC is to issue Merchant Mariner Medical Certificates to fully qualified U.S. merchant mariners. The schedule is Monday through Friday, full time. Responsibilities

• Evaluating and processing merchant mariner medical certificate applications
• Managing official merchant mariner medical records (electronic and paper based) and supplemental medical information
• Completing data entry related to the process
• Providing professional fitness for duty recommendations
• Creating medical certificate creation; and supporting correspondence related to screening and evaluation of applications which also includes photo copying, scanning and stuffing envelopes

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months in respective specialty
• High School Diploma
• Any one of the following: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
