Certified Medical Assistant - Dermatology - Cornerstone Dermatology

We continue to grow at Cornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group in Lee's Summit, MO and we are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our stellar team. Previous dermatology experience is not required - we are eager to train the right candidate.

Cornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group is a growing, privately owned dermatology practice located in Lee's Summit, MO. Our office opened in July 2018. We have five providers and that number continues to grow. We provide compassionate, expert medical, and surgical dermatology care in a comfortable office setting. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and service
• Assist provider in clinic and surgery
• Ensure efficient patient flow
• Obtain patient medical history
• Provide patient instructions and education
• Follow-up with patients regarding labs, biopsy results, and post-operatively
• Set up and sanitize of exam rooms
• Answer patient phone calls
• Schedule procedures and appointments
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments
• Prepare surgery trays

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
• BLS Certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
