3 12-hour shifts/week (8a to 8p) & Every 3rd weekend.

We are a fast-paced clinic dedicated to providing prompt and compassionate medical services to patients with non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Our clinic values efficiency, teamwork, and patient-centered care, and we are currently seeking dedicated Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) or Paramedics to join our team.
- Welcome patients and take initial medical history, including vital signs, symptoms, and reason for visit.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by physicians.
- Collect specimens for lab testing and prepare them for analysis.
- Perform basic diagnostic tests, such as EKGs and point of care lab tests.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Educate patients and their families on prescribed treatments, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
- Manage supply inventory and ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient check-ins, and other front-office duties as needed.
- Current Certifications/Licensures per scope of practice for CMA, LPN, EMT or Paramedic.
- State licensure or certification as required by regulatory agencies, State of Iowa.
- Previous experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a clinical setting preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, clinical procedures, and basic patient care skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume clinic environment.
