Requirements:
- Degree: Certificate
- Education:
- Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
- Or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists
- Or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA/ARC only.
- Current certification as a medical assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants or Current registration by the American Medical Technologists or other formal program as specified in the TO.
- Possess certification as a medical assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants OR registration by the American Medical Technologists OR the American Registry of Medical Assistants OR National Center for Competency Testing.
- Experience:
- Possess a minimum of one year of full-time experience in the last 3 years as a CMA in an outpatient family practice or primary care setting.
- For Submission:
- Resume (all gaps greater than 30 days explained), RN license, Certifications (as noted in the PWS)
- Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US.
