Certified Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant - Consultants In Gastroenterology

The Medical Assistant position is responsible for organizing and preparing the exam rooms for treatment of the patients.  They obtain medical history, measure vital signs and record information in the patient's chart. Medical Assistants also utilize electronic health records and document as needed. Medical Assistants may be asked to perform other duties as needed. The Medical Assistant needs to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers. They will utilize electronic health record for tasks assigned. The Medical Assistant will have their home location but can be expected to work at different locations as needed.
