JOB TITLE: CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT -ROCKY POINT/BURGAW

SUPERVISED BY: Psychiatric Practice Manger

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate from an accredited school, with at least an Associates Degree in Applied Science, and/or Medical Assistant Certification; special consideration given to those with experience working with substance abuse and/or mental health patients and their human services needs;

OR

• An equivalent combination education and experience.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Provide professional and administrative assistance working with the psychiatric and integrated care needs of individuals who are seeking medication management services at Coastal Horizons. Medical Office Assistant will support and collaborate with psychiatric treatment providers including but not limited to MD’s, PA’s, PMHNP’s in psychiatry and the OTP/OBOT programs.
