Christopher's Reason is a licensed OASAS 822 Outpatient facility that specializes in treating individuals who struggle with addiction. We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The position is for full-time employment Sunday-Thursday from 2:00-10:00pm. We are equipped with a full medical, clinical, and peer support team. The ideal candidate who is professional and passionate about helping those we serve. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our medical department. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintaining the safety and comfort of our clients, cleanliness, and ensuring the company policies and guidelines are being implemented and followed
- Submit daily shift reports and brief the team of any changes
- Assist with medical administrative tasks, including managing and answering medical-related calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking patient vital signs
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as Quest urine tests and blood draws
- Prepare and assist healthcare providers during patient visits
Skill and Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Basic life support: Certification in basic life support (BLS) techniques, including CPR and first aid
- Vital Signs: Proficient in measuring and recording vital signs accurately
- Substance Use Disorder experience (preferred)
- Holds and maintains required certification(s) and completes required continuing education
- Medication Observation: Proficient in observing patients take their medications following established protocols
- Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment
- Maintain excellent punctuality and dependability skills
