Certified Medical Assistant [Urgent Care] - Liberty Hospital

SUMMARY: Receives incoming patients and telephone calls utilizing good customer service skill; registers patients. Escorts patients to treatment rooms, triage, lab testing or X-ray. Interviews, gathers and records patient information. Provides patient care including: acute injuries, physicals and screening through: administering drug screens, audio testing, completing a variety of CLIA waived lab work, injections and assisting physician, NP/PA, Radiology Technician or nurse.

Required Experience: Minimum one (1) year physician clinic experience
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Medical Assistant, Certified; BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Preferred Experience: Occupational medicine and/or outpatient ambulatory experience; x-ray experience
