12HUGS MEDICAL STAFFING AGENCY is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. The CNA will provide nursing care to patients and assist them with their activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, competent, punctual, and enjoys helping others. This person must be adaptable and work well with all types of people.

Responsibilities: 

• Patient care – Build confidence and trust with patients in a caring manner. Provide hygiene and daily living assistance such as toileting, bathing, and feeding, as needed. Promoting health by ambulating and re-positioning patients as required.
• Medical needs – Check vital signs, glucose monitoring, weights, and intake/output.
• Professional development – Maintain any specialized training and, if applicable, perform additional and specialized tasks pertinent to the assigned patient or area.  

Requirements: 

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or the equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous healthcare experience with acceptable references preferred
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift up 75 pounds.
