Canyon Vista Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwives to join an established and well-respected group of Board-Certified physicians and Certified Midwives in a hospital-affiliated practice in Sierra Vista, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity to join a group that is expanding due to patient needs and has a collaborative environment where quality and patient safety is at the forefront.
- The midwives will provide full-scope care in a clinic and hospital with on-site physician back-up.
- The position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other duties as permitted by Arizona licensure and defined within the hospital medical staff bylaws.
- Experience is preferred, but not required – will consider new graduates.
- 1st assist for c-sections is preferred and training is available, if needed.
Canyon Vista Medical Center (CVMC) operates a Level I Nursery and has Neonatal Nurse Practitioner on-site coverage 24/7/365. There are 7 Labor & Delivery Rooms, 14 Post- Partum Rooms, and 8 observation beds. Approximately 800 babies are delivered each year. CVMC is also a Pink Ribbon Facility for Breast Health Excellence featuring a 3D Mammography system.
