Certified Nursing Assistant/Certified Medication Aide (CNA / CMA) - NurseCore Management Services, LLC

NurseCore is looking for experienced Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to provide exceptional care for patients in the Amarillo, TX area. A variety of shifts including days, nights and weekend shifts. Coverage is for facilities including hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and corrections.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform medication administration as assigned by and under the supervision of a nurse.

• Inform clinical supervisor of changes in client’s conditions.

• Document care given, observations and treatments.

• Comply with policies and procedures of facility.

• Ensure that facility and client’s equipment, supplies and belongings are    safeguarded.

• Taking and recording BP, temperature, pulse and respiration.

• Maintaining clean and safe environment for clients.

• Ensure and protect clients’ rights and maintain confidentiality.

• High School graduate or equivalent.

• Current CNA certificate from state in which you are practicing.

• Current medication aide certificate from state in which you are practicing.

• Minimum one year experience as Certified Medication Aide in supervised setting within past three (3) years.
