Provides direct personal care under the direction of the nursing staff. Provide companionship and basic care to patients, re-positioning, toileting, monitoring and reporting change in patients condition to head nurse. Assist with ADL's and personal hygiene and maintain a clean and healthy environment. Respond timely to patient’s needs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a nursing facility (Long Term/Short Term Care - Sub Acute Rehab) patient care preferred but not required.
- CNA Students enrolled in a New Jersey CNA Program are encouraged to apply as well
- Available to work EOW (every other weekend).
- Ability to build a rapport with patients, must be compassionate and caring and familiar with medical terminology.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must provide completion of the State of NJ approved nursing aide training program with a current State of NJ certification required.
- Have a current season flu shot.
