Job Summary:
CareLinx by Sharecare is looking forCertified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is tasked with delivering exceptional care to residents, supporting medical staff, and addressing various resident needs. Duties encompass assisting with bathing, maintaining hygiene, feeding, administering medication, and assessing vital signs. The caregiver collaborates with the neighborhood/house team, prioritizing resident and family preferences to fulfill the needs and desires of all residents.
Required Education and Experience:
● Active CNA license in the state of Kansas
● High school diploma or equivalent required
● Graduate of a state approved program for nursing assistants; valid CNA license required.
● Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Plan of Care or assignment (e.g. ADLs and introductory visits)
● Understands the objectives to both quality of care and quality of life
● BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
● Recent PPD or Chest X-Ray
● Spanish bi-lingual capabilities are a plus
Primary Duties:
This outlines the daily responsibilities expected in this position:
● Provides physical care to neighborhood/house residents to address daily needs and support their optimal functioning
● Promote residents' psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building and collaboration with the neighborhood/house team to address social needs
● Establishes a home-like atmosphere by respecting residents' rooms as their own and empowering them to control their environment. Collaborates effectively to prioritize resident and family preferences
● Contribute to maintaining the neighborhood/house by ensuring a clean and safe environment, treating it with the same care as if it were your own home, and recognizing it as the residents' home
● Observing and reporting vital signs and behaviors to nursing or medical leaders. Assisting residents with limited mobility in transferring between a wheelchair and bed. Turning or adjusting residents in bed to prevent bedsores. Providing support for residents in self-care and delivering necessary care as outlined in the Plan of Care for those unable to attend to their own needs
● Maintains documentation
● Medical Administration, accurately and safely prepares, administers, and documents the administration of all appropriate, physician-ordered medications and treatments under the leadership of a licensed nurse, in accordance with federal and state regulations, the Nurse Practice Act of the state and professional standards while honoring person-centered and resident-directed care
