About the Job
Sandy Health and Rehab is a fantastic skilled nursing facility located in Sandy, UT. We are restructuring our team to best support its growth and the needs of our residents! We are looking for CNAs to work the floor, CNA Leads to provide additional support to the CNAs on the floor, and CNA Mentors who will embrace new CNAs and help them in their transition to joining our team. Hours: We have 8-hour shifts, either 6 AM to 2 PM (DAYS), 2 PM to 10 PM (AFTERNOONS), or 10 PM to 6 AM (NIGHTS). We have a lot of flexibility with the schedule, so let's talk about it!

Training
- On the job training will be provided to all nursing assistants. The training period will be tailored to each individual, longer or shorter depending on comfort level and experience
What do we ask from you?
Requirements
- Effective communication
- A patient attitude while working with residents and coworkers
- Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care
- Willingness to obtain certification within 120-days of employment
- Additional requirements for the CNA Leads and Mentors will be discussed during the interview process
Job Duties
- Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
- Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
- Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
- Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
- Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
- Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
