As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist the nursing staff in delivering high-quality care.   Duties:

  - Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  - Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

  - Provide basic patient care, including feeding, turning, and repositioning

  - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times

  - Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of nursing staff, such as suture removal or catheter care

  - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals

  - Assist with physical examinations and collect specimens for laboratory testing

  - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems like Cerner

  - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

  - Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times

  Skills:

  To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  - Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures

  - Experience in critical care or assisted living settings is preferred

  - Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations

  - Familiarity with medical equipment and devices commonly used in healthcare settings

  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
