Certified Nursing Assistant

Currently hiring for certified nursing assistant for an 8 week full time contract in Pierre, SD in a long term care facility.  This requires working 10 pm - 6:30 am or 6:30 pm - 6:30 am depending on if you want 8 or 12 hour shifts.  This does require you to work every weekend however you will receive two consecutive days off during the week. 

Job Description
The role of a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) is to provide direct patient care services under the supervision of the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse according to the philosophy, policies and procedures of the department of nursing.  The C.N.A. works in a wide variety of settings including: hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities to maintain and support activities of daily living of patients and residents.

Requirements

• 6 months of C.N.A. experience within the past 3 years in similar setting
• South Dakota State Registry
• BLS or CPR certification
