Compensation Range:
Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $30.86 - $42.75 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.*12 hour shifts at Huntington Health are overtime-based (not a straight time rate for all 12 hours). Therefore, employees who work a full 12-hour shift will be paid their base rate for 8 hours AND overtime (1.5) for hours up to 12.

This position is designed to provide patient care support as it relates to their scope of practice under the direction of the Registered Nursing staff by the performance of routine patient care activities, surgical technician duties and ensuring accessibility and readiness of supplies and equipment. This position requires flexibility of hours.EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED. Graduate from an accredited school of a surgical technologist required.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
One year experience as a surgical technologist and/or prior experience in clinical patient care setting is preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Surgical Technologist certification issued by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), effective with employees hired or transferred on or after October 15, 2022
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by American Heart Association
SKILLS:
Good communication skills, Good computer skills and proficiency in English.
