Your role as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - PRN (as needed)
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively and under the supervision of our Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitative services to our patients. What you need to be successful
To be successful in the role of Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, certain skills and qualifications are required. These include an associate degree and/or graduation from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, as well as current certification and an Iowa state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Basic Life Saving Certification is also necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients. Additionally, prior clinical experience in the inpatient and outpatient setting is preferred, as it demonstrates a familiarity with various therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities.
