Setting: Out Patient Clinic

Population: Geriatric population

Monday - Friday NO WEEKENDS

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient treatment programs as outlined by the occupational therapist.

• Assist in obtaining vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing.

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to implement activities and programs tailored to individual patient treatment plans.

• Manage scheduling for patient treatments, clinical visits, and billing.

• Maintain and track equipment used in therapy.

• Provide and document occupational therapy interventions based on established care plans, utilizing devices, techniques, and activities to enhance muscle re-education, perceptual-motor and cognitive function, balance, endurance, and independence in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of Occupational Therapy Assistant experience

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.

• Valid state Occupational Therapy Assistant license.

• Minimum of two years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a clinical setting with frail or elderly populations.

• Proficient in providing occupational therapy to frail and elderly patients with complex needs.

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and required auto insurance
