Job description:
Occupational therapists in the educational setting provide specially designed instruction and related services. The occupational therapist collaborates with families and educational team members to develop appropriate education programs and advises on health-related concerns as they impact education for students with special needs. The program goal is to help students to function as independently as possible within the least restrictive environment. This position requires working with children of various ages and a variety of disabilities (preschool to 12th grade).
Position requires being an itinerant and traveling to different school sites within the district.
PECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
