Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Hannibal Regional Hospital

**Sign-On Bonus or Tuition Repayment Eligible**

Performs all duties under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Responsible for providing occupational therapy treatment procedures as determined by the evaluating licensed occupational therapist. Informs the occupational therapist of changes in patient status. Assists in the maintenance of a safe and orderly clinic and maintains equipment as assigned.

- Associates degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) required

- Successful completion of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy examination or a current limited permit holder in good standing in the State of Missouri required

- Current COTA license from the State of Missouri or eligible to obtain required

- Current limited permit holder in good standing in the State of Missouri and in process of obtaining full licensure will be considered

- Ability to serve patients & visitors in a manner conducive to positive customer relations

- Ability to work with a variety of age groups

- Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships

- Ability to seek additional supervision as needed

- BLS certification required
