CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA) -EVENINGS - Allegria Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Port Jefferson

Job Description:

Woodhaven Nursing Home is currently searching for a COTA to work 5pm to 10pm in our Skilled Nursing Facility in Port Jefferson Station, NY. Must be available during the week and also on the weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in carrying out daily activities
• Monitor Resident's performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement
• Teach residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function
• Work in collaboration with the OT to establish a rehabilitation plan
• Experience in Long Term Care setting preferred

Requirements/Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited COTA program
• NYS Licensed
• Associates Degree

• Education

  Entry Level (0-2 years)
