Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This full-time day shift position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents through rehabilitation and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluation & Planning: Collaborate with occupational therapists to assess residents and create personalized treatment plans.
• Independence Promotion: Assist residents with daily living tasks, empowering them to achieve greater independence.
• Support Provision: Supervise and guide residents as they engage in prescribed activities, monitoring progress and well-being.
• Rehabilitation Facilitation: Help residents recover from injury, illness, or other health challenges to regain their best quality of life.
• Confidentiality Safeguarding: Ensure all resident information is handled with utmost confidentiality.
• Teamwork Promotion: Work cohesively with the healthcare team to foster a supportive, cooperative environment.

Qualifications:

• New Jersey State COTA License: Current and active license is required.
• Preferred Experience: Prior experience in long-term care settings is a plus, though not mandatory.
