Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of this position is to implement patient treatment under the supervision of Registered Occupational Therapists as required.

Scope of Responsibility

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will provide excellent patient treatments and complete other diverse duties under the supervision of the OTR, and appropriately complete documentation in compliance with regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an AOTA approved school with Associate Degree in O.T.
• Current State of Texas licensure is required with certification by AOTA
• One year of clinical experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant preferred
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
