POSITION: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
STATUS: PART-TIME, AS NEEDED up to 29 hours a week
Pay: $36/hour and mileage if travel is required
Required:
- 60 credit hours earn from accredited school
- Current Missouri Certification
- A combination of one year of experience working with children
- Ability to work as a member of an educational team in a fast-paced school setting
POSITION SUMMARY:
The COTA works one on one or in small groups within the classroom setting to provide immediate support and reinforcement to students struggling to make it successfully through the school day due to behavioral issues. The COTA may assist with academics, social/emotional behaviors, and/or ADLs depending upon the needs of the assigned student(s).
