*Responsibilities*

- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.

- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living, and mobility training.

- Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment in accordance with care plans.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and home exercise programs.

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.

*Skills*

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assist in patient rehabilitation.

- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices.

- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with an understanding of acute care environments.

- Ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

- Proficient in occupational health practices and patient care techniques.

- Knowledge of medical imaging processes as they relate to therapy assessments.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
