Job description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will have will have payroll processing and/or payroll reporting experience working in the construction industry preferably in a fast paced, high-volume, multi-project work environment.
Certified Payroll Specialist
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will be responsible for implementing company procedures for monitoring wage compliance and reporting.
- Prepare and submit weekly Certified Payroll reports on LCP tracker and to the DIR
- Make adjustments to any certified payroll records as needed.
- Review certified payroll reports for compliance including prevailing wages, fringe benefits, job/skill classifications, etc.
- Collect, review, and analyze records and supporting documents for inaccuracies, errors, deficiencies, incompleteness, etc.
- Issue requests for missing and revised documentation and corresponds with the contractors staff to ensure compliance.
- Communicate with appropriate stakeholder to resolve any identified discrepancies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ year experience with Certified Payroll the construction or related industry
- Exposure to LCP Tracker (Labor Compliance Program)
- Knowledge of the Division of Industrial Relations (DIR)
- Strong attention detail with the ability to multitask and manage changing priorities throughout the workday
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (relationship building is key in this role!)

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24.02 - $28.93 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
