As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with our progressive, world-class pharmacists to provide personalized service to each customer.*
The ideal candidate has the ability to process a variety of prescriptions in a fast-paced, retail environment and maintains a positive attitude with fellow team members
Our Pharmacy Technicians work promptly, safely and accurately to fill patient prescriptions all while providing a unique customer experience.
*Requirements: *
*\*This is an in person role
Candidates must reside in the greater Austin area.\**
* *Must be current TSBP license holder (Technician or Trainee*)
* Extraordinary customer service
* Excellent and efficient data entry skills
* Knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology
* Six months to one year retail pharmacy experience
* Flexible schedule, alternating nights and weekends
* Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 8 hours
*Responsibilities:*
* Receive written and electronic prescriptions or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate
* Enter and maintain prescription data using pharmacy software system
* Answer incoming phone calls and field patient questions
* Contact doctor’s offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information and initiate refill requests
* Specialize in the resolution of prescription insurance claims
* Assist the pharmacist with packaging medications and affixing proper labels
* Maintain the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed
*Job Types: Part-time, Full-time*
*Pay rate from $16.50 - $21.00 *_*(Starting rate of pay is based on experience + certification level)*_
