Your specific duties will include:
- Preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns using Lacerte software.
- Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients across various industries.
- Managing and overseeing client accounts, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Analyzing financial data and presenting reports to clients with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Conducting tax research and staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Assisting with bookkeeping and financial statement preparation as needed.
- Associate degree in accounting or higher preferred, or related accounting experience
- A certified public accountant (CPA) license is required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation and planning.
- Proficiency with Lacerte tax software; also, QuickBooks and Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
