Certified Surgical Technologist (Operating Room) - Seasoned Recruitment

The Certified Surgical Technologist (Operating Room) is responsible for assisting the surgical team in the operating room during surgical procedures. This position requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgery, including setting up equipment and supplies
• Assist the surgeon with surgical procedures, including passing instruments and retracting tissues
• Monitor the patient's vital signs and report any changes to the surgeon
• Ensure that all instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and maintained
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room
• Adhere to all hospital and regulatory policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in emergency situations
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
