The Change and Communications Specialist optimizes the effectiveness of a company, business unit, or team. Analyze the internal structure of the organization and create strategies to maximize employee work output and effectively utilize employee skills. The Change and Communications Specialist work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Role
The Change and Communications Specialist will provide communications support to specific initiative(s) related to the Transformation Management Office (TMO). This includes developing detailed & flexible communication roadmap along transformation lifecycle, steering all transformation-related communication & align messages across organization, assessing and monitoring change load across functions and teams, setting up clear action plan to align organization-wide communication roadmap for transformation and tailoring transformation-related communications internally and to key stakeholder groups (including leadership, broader organization, etc.). The role will work closely with the TMO Program Lead and CTO to align on communication timing, content and audience.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
+ Promote effective change management by equipping leaders with change management best practices
+ Ensure sustainable communication approach by leadership coaching and employee engagement
+ Build infrastructure for successful feedback and initiative review system, add risk mitigating actions
+ Provide key stakeholder groups with appropriate detail regarding transformation (balancing needs of all stakeholders incl. board, CTO, PMO, work's council and others)
+ Use clear language (appropriate for the relevant stakeholder) and emphasize the business and the individual benefits
+ Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that synthesize key messages and align with the transformation project's objectives.
+ Draft communication plan and clear and cohesive messages for senior leadership (e.g., town halls, newsletters, board meetings)
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years experience in a project management-based change management role OR equivalent work experience a minimum of five years experience in a project management-based change management role
+ A minimum of one year of experience change Management delivery, ideally in an Agile context as well as product communication
+ Experience drafting communications for a wide audience to include but not limited to: leadership teams, physicians, and clinic staff.
+ Proficient in MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to complete communications, such as presentations and reports
+ Excellent communication skills (fluency in English language - written and oral)
+ Strong collaboration and facilitation skills in order to lead project teams and meetings throughout the project lifecycle
+ Strong time management that allows for working independently
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master's degree in related discipline
+ Experience supporting a large, matrixed healthcare delivery or payer system.

Work from Home Requirements
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
+ At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
+ A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
+ Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
+ Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
+ Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
