Job Description:
In this role, you will:
- Assess, investigate, and provide transparency to the enterprise portfolio, reviewing and assessing overall health, impacts, risks, and escalating as needed.
- Escalate programs/products that are non-compliant, represent elevated risk, contain cross-business impacts, or do not meet ECM standards through ECM governance routines.
- Review and disposition escalations (pertaining to risks and impediments) from Programs and Products.
- Develop expert knowledge on key portfolios of change, understand strategy, risk, and change drivers for the work, and be able to communicate key details clearly and concisely to executive leaders and risk management experts.
- Manage change portfolio performance for the company's largest, most complex, and highest risk change initiatives.
- Analyze portfolio performance to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with business, technology, risk, and control executives to influence approaches to improve change delivery, risk management
Desired Qualifications:
- 7+ years of direct experience managing and reporting on extremely large, complex, and/or company-wide change portfolios, particularly those representing $***M or more in investment expense.
- Expert written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in change management, both in Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
- Expert experience in conducting complex analysis and communicating results and recommendations to executive audiences (look for experience consulting with steering committees)
- Experience and strong understanding in change management methodologies (Both Technology and People side of change) (Prosci, ADKAR, etc.)
Big Picture:
- The team is responsible for ECM Governance - including quality assurance and controls-holding LOBs to compliance and procedure etc.
- There is another arm of the team for portfolio management, this position fits in this arm and this is a new function as it stands independently, in the past the portfolio and change management was done as an additional task for team members
- The resources will be responsible to look after important change efforts in the bank
- KEI's (key enterprise initiatives) is the focus heavily, in partnership with change leaders across the bank.
- They will be asked to dig in and understand the work, where impacts are, status changes etc.
- There are 15 business groups-the contractors will split to divide these spaces
Desired Skills:
- Relationship management-they will need to gain better quality data for senior leaders
- Ability to question and draw conclusions-find related themes (thematic analysis)
- Experience in data quality
- Understanding of change management (but not seeking specifically change manager or product manager as a sole responsibility)
- Enterprise portfolio management
- Leading regulatory programs - someone who has owned a substantial regulatory book
- Portfolio management is a major skill set
- Change leader-management of a book of work is desired
- Strong written and verbal skills is required
- Curiosity is very important
- Consulting experience may have some of the right package, this is a consultative position as they do not own the work ultimately
- Presentation skills are important-ability to share and craft the story
Technical Skills:
- MS Office
- PP skills are very valuable in this role
