Could This Be For You?:The Change Management Partner - Hybrid Remote (home/office) will play a key role in leading key transformational change initiatives across the organization. This role will collaborate with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to ensure effective planning, execution and sustainment of change management plans that support the organization's strategic goals.
The ideal candidate is a flexible and creative change management practitioner with a proven track record of managing complex transformations and fostering a positive change culture. The role will report to the Director of Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness.
Your Impact:- Develop and Lead Change Management Strategies
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans for assigned initiatives (change projects) to support Hanger’s enterprise transformation strategy.
- Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization in accordance with Hanger’s change management methodology.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business objectives, assess the impact of change, and align change initiatives with strategic priorities.
- Partner with the EPMO and Project Leads to develop communication and training plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft, finalize and deploy communications for stakeholders at all levels, ensuring consistent messaging throughout the change process.
- Change Impact Assessment and Readiness
- Conduct impact assessments to identify risks, challenges, and opportunities associated with change; partner with project leadership and EPMO to develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Lead readiness assessments and create mitigation plans to address resistance and readiness gaps.
- Lead Cross-Functional Change Initiatives
- Work with functional leaders to integrate change management practices into ongoing projects and programs.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for managing organizational change.
- Education & Training
- Develop and deliver education and training programs for change projects and/or partner with L&D team to develop and deliver content, as appropriate.
- Ensure ongoing support for impacted employees, providing tools and resources for continuous learning and adaptation.
- Monitor, Measure and Sustain Change Effectiveness
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives and make necessary adjustments, as needed.
- Ensure long-term sustainability of change initiatives by partnering with leadership to identify and embed reinforcement mechanisms into the organizational culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in change management or a related role.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformations, ideally within complex or matrixed organizations.
- Experience working with senior leadership and managing change at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
- Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step Process, etc.).
- Proven experience in change management, organizational development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success working in matrixed/cross-functional teams and managing large-scale change initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, including experience managing multiple, complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential risks and develop appropriate solutions.
