Job DescriptionYour Career
As a Channel Systems Engineer specializing in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), you provide technical expertise and support to channel partners on their journey towards becoming key Palo Alto Networks partners. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, providing comprehensive technical guidance and driving demand-generation activities alongside partners. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in developing partner capabilities, building customer trust, and positioning our SASE solutions as the top choice for our customer’s zero trust journey.
Your Impact
- Act as a SASE subject matter expert, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and training to channel partners on Palo Alto Networks SASE solutions
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that align with our SASE product roadmap
- Lead technical presentations, demos, and workshops to channel partners to drive adoption and understanding of SASE technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on partner needs and product enhancements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, security threats, and networking developments to provide partner with the latest knowledge and best practices in the SASE ecosystem
- Understand and effectively differentiate against our top competitors
Your Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a successful pre-sales SE, systems integrator, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of networking required; understanding of network security preferred
- Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives
- Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role - prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal
- Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
- Experience selling, implementing, or managing SASE/SaaS/cloud/managed/on-prem offerings is a plus
- Complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is preferred
- Prior experience working with channel is required, prior experience as a Channel SE preferred
- Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role - prior experience in a pre-sales role is preferred
- Previous experience selling, implementing, or managing SaaS offerings is preferred
- Experience in complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is preferred
- Prior experience architecting cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives is preferred

Compensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $198000 - $273000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here
