Job Title: Direct Support Staff
Location: CHAP Case Manager, New Haven, CT
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to participants with developmental, physical, and behavioral needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support participants in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the dignity and respect of all individuals.
- Document participant progress and communicate effectively with team members and families.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a nurturing attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
