• Current Massachusetts license. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing. • For external applicants: - Bachelors or Masters in Nursing required. • For internal applicants: - Bachelors or Masters in Nursing preferred. If not, must be enrolled or enroll in a program leading to a Bachelors or Masters in Nursing within one (1) year from being appointed to NIC position and must complete such program no later than six (6) years after commencing employment as a NIC. 1. Minimum of five years of clinical experience with cardiac ICU patient population. 2. Demonstrated evidence of leadership progression. 3. Demonstrated evidence of competent nursing practice with mechanical circulatory support. 4.Certification strongly preferred.
