As part of the Martin Luther Campus of senior living, Meadow Woods Assisted Living is a residential setting by woodlands, wetlands and the Minnesota River Bluffs. Our staff encourages participation in the many regularly scheduled activities and lifelong learning programs, and believes in Ebenezer’s mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives.
Cook/Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking meals as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established culinary standards of high quality care. Ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and resident expectations.. Will plate food for optimal eye appeal to entice food consumption by our residents in our Senior Assisted Living Community located in Bloomington, MN.
This Cook position includes:
72 hours per two weeks
Day shift
Includes Every other weekend and possible Holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description
+ Ensuring that meals are served and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and customer expectations
+ Preparation of meals, line service, clean-up
+ Assisting Culinary Director with supervision and training of culinary staff
Qualifications
High volume cooking experience in a similar environment required
Scratch cooking experience preferred
One to three years related experience
ServSafe certification preferred, but will assist in obtaining
