In this role, you'll go beyond the typical line cook duties and step into a chef-inspired position, crafting delicious and nutritious meals that tantalize taste buds and promote resident well-being.

What You'll Do:

• Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of high-quality meals from scratch, considering resident preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal ingredients.
• Develop and implement a diverse and rotating menu that caters to a variety of tastes and cultural backgrounds.
• Oversee kitchen operations to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient food service environment.
• Manage food inventory and costs, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
• Lead and mentor culinary staff, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
• Ensure all meals are plated and presented with an emphasis on aesthetics and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, fostering positive relationships with residents and staff.

Who You Are:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in senior living or a similar setting.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
• Proven ability to develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
