Overview
We are looking for a Chef/Cook to support our Senior Living Community. This role, starting at $20/hr , is responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and resident expectations. This food services position includes:
+ 78 hours every two weeks
+ Full time day/evening shifts
+ Monday 6am-2pm
+ Tuesday 9am-3pm
+ Thursday and Friday 11am-7:30pm
+ Saturday 6am-2pm
+ Holidays as needed

Opened in 2019, Amira Choice Naples is conveniently located in North Naples off I-75 and is a vibrant community along miles of white sand beaches. Responsibilities/Job Description
+ Ensuring that meals are served and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and customer expectations
+ Preparation of meals by following standardized recipes
+ Handles and prepares food in a safe manner following policies and infection control and safety standards.
+ Ensure timely production and meal service is provided to residents
+ Set up line service
+ Clean and sanitize equipment and work area after each use
+ Assists with special events
+ Assists Culinary Director with supervision and training of culinary staff
Qualifications
Required:
+ ServSafe certification, or must be obtained within 90 days of start date
+ Basic math skills and must be comfortable using Microsoft applications
+ Must have good problem solving and time management skills
+ Good written and oral communication skills
Preferred:
+ Vocational/technical training/education/degree
+ High School Diploma/GED preferred
+ High volume cooking experience in a similar environment
+ Scratch cooking experience
