About the Job
Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Chemical Engineer with a strong background in solvent recovery and aqueous chemistry. In this role, you will design and optimize processes to efficiently recover and reuse complex reagents critical for material extraction from coal ash. You will play a key role in enhancing our sustainable processes and reducing waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and optimization of solvent recovery and reuse methods, with a focus on aqueous chemistry applications.
Design and implement processes for extracting high-value materials from coal ash, minimizing solvent waste and improving resource efficiency.
Utilize analytical tools such as XRF, ICP-MS/OES to enhance process performance.
Ensure strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations in all operations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with CEO and CTO to drive innovation & efficiency in material extraction.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
8-10 years of experience with aqueous chemistry and solvent recovery processes.
Proficiency with solvent material characterization (Aqueous XRF, ICP-MS/OES, XRD).
Proven experience in designing and implementing solvent recovery and recycling processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
