Chemical Lab Technician - Tricon Solutions

Location: 440 College Park Drive, Monroeville, PA - 15146

Type: 1 year contract on W2

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Weekend OT is typically voluntary but could become mandatory if needed.

PPE: Any required PPE will be supplied by the client. Opportunity to be converted to PPG employee for the right fit.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education not required but candidates with an associate or bachelor's degree in the science field is preferred.

• Experience in a manufacturing setting, cleanroom environment, or lab setting is beneficial.

• Enjoys being on their feet and working with their hands for most of the day.

Job Overview:

• Contract for 1 year with the opportunity to be hired as a PPG employee.

• Looking for someone that wants multiple years of employment.

• Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance or research setting.

• Duties include making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures.

• Assists higher level technicians in setup of laboratory equipment and in recording data for experiments and procedures.

• Requires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests.

• Performs routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments.

• This is an entry-level position.

• Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and no prior experience.
